In other side, I can use XWindows in 1024x768.What should > I do? Matrox's BIOS only supports up to 800x600 resolution, so higher modes are not supported by the vesa driver. In the latest pre-release (1.4.3 or 1.9.8) there is a new driver I wrote for the G200/G400/G450. Currently I know it works on G450, but I am also almost certain it won't work on G200. If you want to help me getting it to work on G200, please download any of these releases, install, edit the config file to not include any chipset line, and run vgatest with the output redirected to a file, select mode 10. Then send to me the file, a description of what the screen looked like, whether or not text mode was restored successfuly, and the output of lspci -nv. -- Matan Ziv-Av. matan@svgalib.org ------------------------------------------------------------------ Unsubscribe: To: listbot@svgalib.org Body: unsubscribe linux-svgalib
