The only problem I don't seem to be able to fix is restoring text mode. The best I can get is text mode restored, but the text screen does not scroll at all. At worst, the screen is full of (graphics type) rubish and the only identifiable feature is the cursor ! I have tried "restoretextmode", but haven't been able to make any difference.
