Then when a newer version replaces the former because of a bug, rename the previous version to 1.4.x.bug and call the new one 1.4.(x+1). So if we had 1.4.3, then that would become 1.4.3.bug and the new one would be 1.4.4. If new options and drivers are added, then you could increment the second place digit, i.e. 1.5.0.
