Ok, I did what you specified which seemed to help the build get much further along, but now it dies while compiling lrmi.c: /home/bryan/svgalib-1.9.10/src/lrmi.c:16: asm/vm86.h: No such file or directory /home/bryan/svgalib-1.9.10/src/lrmi.c:183: field 'vm' has incomplete type ... /home/bryan/svgalib-1.9.10/src/lrmi.c:462: Internal compiler error in 'fixup_var_refs_1', at function.c:2082 There's other messages like CPU_386 undeclared and edx might be used uninitialized in this function. BTW, am I one of the first people to test this, 'cause I wasn't able to find much in the archives besides the release of 1.9.9 and 1.9.10? Thanks, Bryan >Just create a file called /usr/include/sys/io.h containing >#include <asm/io.h> > >For the rest, just changing the in the first lines of Makefile from >#include Makefile.cfg to #include Makefile.ppc should work. > >Note that if your computer has a rage based video card, you can only use >the fbdev driver and that only if you use atyfb in the kernel.
