I think I found a work around for this problem: remove the line OUTREG(R128_GEN_RESET_CNTL, restore->gen_reset_cntl); (It should be around line 316, in the function R128RestoreMode). Also, add a line save->config_cntl = INREG(R128_CONFIG_CNTL); in the function R128InitCommonRegisters (around line 440.) in the same way (but different line numbers) the 1.9.10 driver can be fixed.
