Hi, i have a sony C1VE vaio notebook. It uses a resolution of 1024x480, many linux fans have this PC so there is a lot of support from the Linux comunity. As example X11, with the proper modeline, works OK in 1024x480; there is a driver for the framebuffer console too (in 1024x480) (there is even a driver for the integrated camera and the programmable chip). The graphics card in the C1VE is a ATI Mobility M1 and under X11 uses the Mach64 driver (i think is the same under SVGAlib). Now i am asking you ...how can i use SVGAlib appliaction in 1024x480 ? I added the same modeline of X11 in /etc/vga/libvga.config but SVGAlib program seems to ignore it and run only in 640x480. I read that in SVGAlib 1.4 (i have 1.4.3) there is support for 16x9 modes ...but if i look in vga.h i don't find any. thanks ------------------------------------------------------------------ Unsubscribe: To: listbot@svgalib.org Body: unsubscribe linux-svgalib
